There are only eight teams remaining, with four intriguing matchups this weekend. Three of these games are also rematches from the regular season (the Packers at 49ers the lone exception), making it interesting to see the adjustments made from the first matchups. Hopefully this round is much more competitive than last week’s games were. Read below to see who moves on to the conference championship games.

Ravens 30, Texans 20

The Ravens should be rested and ready to go coming off the bye. They may even have Mark Andrews back for this game coming back from injury. The Texans absolutely dominated the Browns last week but this will be a big step up. They need to limit the Ravens ground game and hope they can get some pass rush on Lamar Jackson if they want a chance to slow down the Baltimore offense. When these teams met in week 1, the Ravens sacked CJ Stroud five times which cannot happen again if Houston wants to pull off the upset. Stroud is processing much faster and getting the ball out better than his first career start when these teams played. The Ravens need to focus on taking away Nico Collins who has feasted the last couple of games. The Texans great run will unfortunately end in Baltimore after a very successful season.

49ers 34, Packers 30

This game feels like it could get into shootout territory. The 49ers should have a fully healthy Christian McCaffrey coming off of the bye week which is obviously huge for their offense. While the Packers defense has looked good the last few weeks, stopping this 49ers offense will be the ultimate challenge. If the defense is opportunistic and gets turnovers like they did last week, they can put up enough points to escape with the win. Jordan Love is playing unbelievable football at this point and the Packers offense seems to have answers for whatever defenses are showing them. The balance between the pass and run game has been huge for keeping this offense on schedule and in mostly favorable down and distances. The 49ers goal should be to contain the Green Bay run game and make them one dimensional and let the young Packer WRs try to beat them.

Lions 27, Buccaneers 23

This is another game that has a lot of potential to be a high scoring barnburner. Ultimately, I trust the Lions balanced offense and creative play calling to be the reason they win this. OC Ben Johnson continues to masterfully call plays keeping the offense balanced and helping Jared Goff by scheming up open receivers. The Buccaneers game plan on defense will be interesting. Will they come after Goff with the blitz or will they be more content to drop back? It will be tougher to blitz against an offensive line that should be more equipped to pick them up than the Eagles O-line was last week. For the Buccaneers offense, they should be able to move the ball on the Lions defense but the Lions run defense and red zone will be the difference just like it was last week against the Rams.

Bills 20, Chiefs 16

The balance of the Bills offense has helped this team so much late in the season and should be a big reason why they win again this week. The usage of Josh Allen in the run game has been a huge part of it, as it has been one of the biggest factors for their offense to. This presents a huge challenge for a Chiefs defense that is good enough to slow down the Bills pass game but will have a lot to worry about concerning Allen’s involvement in the run game. The Chiefs offense looked good last week but has to settle for a lot of field goals. Rashee Rice has been huge for them down the stretch and the Bills need to be aware of him and try to take him away. Travis Kelce needs to step up after a poor finish to the season if the Chiefs want to get this win. I think the Bills ability to hold Kansas City to FGs ends up being the deciding factor in this game.
